About meI love books. I just finished an MS in information (library) science, with a concentration in archives and records management. I also have an MA in history. My interests include early American history, the UK, and medieval Europe. I'm currently taking some online courses on Tolkien, which are lots of fun. When not buried by homework I enjoy sitting down and reading a good book, be it a new series or an old favourite.

About my libraryEvery physical book that I own is listed in my catalogue. I am addicted to reading and buying books. My non-academic interests include fantasy, sci-fi, and steam punk/alternate history.

Hi,

Thanks for the review of A Kingdom's Cost. The sequel, Countenance of War, will be out March 26 and I wondered if you would be interested in a review copy of that when it's out? I could gift it to you through Amazon if you are.

Thanks again!
Congratulations on winning a copy of The Rebel Son by Guy Quigley! Your copy will be on its way soon.

Warm regards,

Paula
Hi! Thanks so much for the books through SantaThing. I'm especially excited about "A Madness of Angels." I hadn't heard of it before, but it looks like a book that I'm going to really enjoy.

I got a message that some of your picks were switched out due to shipping times since they wanted them to arrive before Christmas (they kept the Jordan book), and I received "The Warded Man" and a Grimm's fairy tales instead. Which ones were you originally thinking of?

Thanks again,
Anne
Glad you enjoyed the books!

Thanks for the comments regarding [The Millenium Falcon]. I have not read any books that take place after Return of Jedi because I just don't know where to start. I was wondering if you could point me to a good starting point or series since you seem knowledgeable on the subject? I'm a huge Star Wars fan, but was also overwhelmed by the book selection and don't know where to start.

Thanks,
Brit
Thank you for your very positive review of our Direct Hits US History in a Flash study guide. We are glad that you enjoyed reading it and felt it would be helpful on the AP exam. I will let you know when we have other books to review.

Thanks again,
Claire Griffith
Not sure if you remember me or not, but you reviewed my novel, Dirty Little
Angels, a while back. I'm writing because I'm almost done with my new novel, In
the Valley of Falling Stars, and I was wondering if you'd be interested in
taking a look at it and giving me your opinion. I can send you a complete
summary, but it's essentially about a mentally-ill man living in post-Katrina
New Orleans who becomes convinced that his wife is pregnant with Jesus Christ.
The book is still in process, but the entire book is sketched out, and I
currently have eight chapters that I feel are done. If you're too busy, I
understand. Just thought I'd ask.

Hope you're doing well,

Chris
Hey kkunker,
Thank you for sharing your thoughts on "Bittersweet." I think it's great when we can find a book that's both enjoyable and thought-provoking. Speaking of that, I see you like "Patrick" by Stephen Lawhead. I have yet to read that one, but I loved his trilogy about Robin Hood (Hood / Scarlet / Tuck). Have a great Thanksgiving!
