About meScientist by day, reader by night. Swedish by birth, American-Swedish at the moment. Mother, gardener, progressive, thinker, nature lover, photographer, food creator, traveler.

About my libraryWhat is kept in my library are the books I would read again. Most books I read are given away or lent out to others. It is a large mix of kitchen stories, Swedish crime novels, biographies, evolution and science books, travel diaries, and great American and Swedish classics. I also love finding the new classics, the amazing books that are published now and will be classics in the future. I don't care much for predictability and platitudes, bad English (or Swedish), and books that assume traditional old-fashioned gender roles in the modern world (bye bye romance novels), unless the women have brains and are very well written.
