About me Born in Albuquerque. An idyllic then purgatorial childhood in Portales. Stuff happened. Married and divorced. Went to St. John's College. Worked IT in Austin. Genetic disease caught up with me, am disabled. Live in Albuquerque. Have a cat named Muncie. No children, one baby nephew.

About my library I read mostly genre fiction even though I have a "great books" education. Why? I do have taste, but my simple pleasures are escapist. I don't read that much non-fiction; it accounts for less than 10% of what I read. So far, all I have entered into the database are the books I've ordered from Amazon. This is probably 66% of the books I've bought in the last six years or so. It mostly reflects the pleasure reading I do and a great number of books that are important to me are not, as of yet, in this database. Including, obviously, the many books I read when I was at St. John's College.
