I was looking over the owner of "Survivor", by Chuck Palahniuk, and I don't think she'll send the book, really. She has a lot of mooches she hasn't even accepted yet (ours among them), and since she's new and everything...

And today another copy popped up on BM, but when I asked if I could mooch it I got turned down. So I thought maybe I'd play a wild card and hopefully just now you'd see this on LT and be able to mooch this one instead: http://bookmooch.com/detail/0385498721

Thanks Kristin! No, I didn't look for another angel because the giver said that she will hold the book for me for another week (she took several days to check postage costs) so I thought I had time. It looks like she didn't notice or forgot to change the reservation, so when the original one expired someone else mooched and she acepted it! Well, I guessed it wasn't meant to be mine.

No problem at all. In fact there are a couple of others that have popped up on my WL since - if you prefer to make it a more cost effective parcel and get no joy from the slow coaches you're still waiting for.
I'm very happy just to receive the two you've managed to pick up so don't feel bad about the others.
I've twice been asked to Angel from this part of the world and both ended badly.
If you'd like to list the ones you have so you can get the points that's fine by me.
