Noticed you liked The Glass Castle, and I was wondering if you'd be interested in reviewing my new novel and posting your comments here as well as a few other book-related sites. Thought you might like my book since it's also about a dysfunctional family and a bit dark. I could e-mail you the novel in an e-book format if you'd like (I'm out of physical copies at the moment). Let me know if you're interested. Here's a link to a summary (and a sample chapter) in case you'd like to learn a little more about the book before you commit:

Hi How are you....
Hello Kay from Nashville,

I looked at our "in common books" and noticed we both have several books which are rather rare in LibraryThing. Ellen Glichrist, a great short story writer; Louis Auchincloss, a very under rated writer (I think); Robert Teller, and more. I do a lot of looking at some of LTs marvelous statistics and talks, but have not joined in the social stuff. I am probably too old, or too isolated. I did think that maybe some southern roots could account for a few of our choices. In my younger days, I thought all great American literature of depth was from the south. Or the east.

Thank you. Now I have to look at the rest of your books.
G'Day Kay, caught by the "koala" and a reasonable overlap of library. Curious to know your "Aussie" connection.
We both seem to have an interest in pommie Graham Greene - yank Kurt Vonnegut jr and aussie Morris West. They seem to me to have v strong similarity as moralists, engaging writers and believers as Vonnegut said " .. world is a slightly different place just because they read a damn book. Imagine that.".
With your VSJ tag are books i have, but not yet entered and many i would have if i'd past them on a bookshop table, so i'm curious as to what VSJ represents. wishing great reading, jules
Hi, I just joined this site. I'm a relationship expert and I'm getting ready to a column on love advice & relationships. Anyway, just thought I would connect.
