About meI am taking one year off before graduate school in ancient history. During this year I intend to learn how to program, read, earn some money and learn languages, along with a host of other activities.

About my libraryIt is a hodgepodge that started coalescing before I was born since I have pilfered the library at home. There is a lot of fantasy, a bit of science fiction and then loads and loads of history. Most of all I have a large collection of translated ancient texts. Who knows, maybe I will find something neat while adding them all.

I was just talking to someone about Ender's Game the other day. Is it any good? Also, my books read list is suddenly embarrassingly small. Why haven't I been reading? Ack!
Is your LibraryThing just books you own or also books you read? If it's just books you own....when did you go on a book-buying spree and how did I miss it?
Many thanks for the suggestions. I love ancient history: Rome, Greece, Egypt, Mayan, etc, though medieval history is my expertise.

I totally own "The Making of the Modern English State, 1460-1660." So that's really not you and none other. In fact, that book is owned by many folks who took Kapelle. Huh, LibraryThing must not be popular at Deis.
what language are you learning?
You and I have read a lot more of the same fantasy than I realized. I suppose I should have expected that, though!
