About my libraryThe primary purpose for my library is to organize all my books in order to make life for me and my husband in our small apartment more livable. I had previously attempted to pack up my books, but it always resulted in a huge post-tornado like mess any time I needed a certain book. Library Thing is a bit of a lifesaver in this aspect. Once I am finished with this task, I hope to start reading and reviewing more as I am way behind schedule on my TBR stack...er...looming tower.

I thought you might like to know, Vikas Swarup, author of Slumdog Millionaire is coming out with a new book July 7th called Six Suspects.

Hi, thanks for your comment. I am missing my books too. :) It will be a while before I can get to them, they are in storage in Sweden, but when I do I will catalog all of them. Right now I am reading The Kite Runner by Khaled Hosseini. It's an excellent book and considering it's the author's first book, it's amazing. He is a born storyteller. It's an interesting story set in Afghanistan. He will get a 5 when I am done.

Hello, I listed you as an interesting library. I noticed we share 10 books, but looking briefly in your library I see several others we also share. Most of my books are in storage and not on LibraryThing yet. I'm also interested in the Middle East, literature as well as politics and languages. Happy reading and have a wonderful day.

Hello, I saw you listed me as an interesting library. I was wondering what interested you from my library. I see you are very interested in language. I envy you. I have grown up "monolinguistically" and have a hard time hearing the nuance of other languages. Anyway, have a great day and enjoy library thing.
