I'm so glad you liked the santathing books! I admit that I relied heavily on the commentors for inspiration, because your interests are outside my area. I'm delighted it worked out. Hope you enjoy the books and that you have wonderful reads throughout 2013!
Maggie
Hi kristinbell,

Excellent, creative job picking my SantaThing books.

I always enjoy Sarah Vowell when she comes on The Daily Show with Jon Stewart or The Colbert Report. Stitches looks like a hoot.

Thanks Santa,
Debra
Hi Kristin,
Thanks so much for the SantaThing books! I haven't read either of them before, so I look forward to it.
-Vicki
Glad you liked the books - mine haven't arrived yet, but I'm hoping they will soon!
-Vicki
Hi Kristin,
I still haven't received my books, but I'm looking forward to it! I'm starting to wonder if they got lost - I'll have to check with the post office. Have you received yours?
-Vicki
Hi Kristin,
That is funny that we got each other for SantaThing. I haven't received my books yet, either, but I appreciate the gift!

Vicki
Is that your tiger kitty in your photo? My Roy was kind of a funny-looking kitten--huge ears and paws and a long tail--but I think he grew into a very handsome cat!
I'm so glad you like them! I wasn't 100% sure about the cat book, so I'm glad it's funny! Merry Christmas! Carly
You seem awesome, so I added you. x
Merry Christmas and Happy New Year to you, too! Glad you liked the books.
Thank you so much Secret Santa! I don't know who you are yet, but I got my books yesterday and they are just FANTASTIC!!! I don't know if you'll read this, but thank you. AND I totally did LOL at the LOLKittez!!! lol Sheesh! You know me better than I know myself!!! I'm totally looking forward to the Frank Lloyd Wright book too! Fiction centered around a great character like that: brilliant!

Hugs to you my Secret Santa!!!

:) kristin
Merry Christmas to you too! :)
Kristin - thank you for being my Secret Santa! I just got my books today. I'm sure I will love Wigfield! (That type of humor is perfect for me.) Why Women Should Rule the World looks really interesting. Thank you for your thoughtful choices!
Happy Holidays! Holly (wanton_librarian)
Hey Kristin! Thanks for accepting my friend request.
Oh, thanks for the note about Powell's - what a great idea!!
Hey Kristin! There is a university near here! I hadn't thought of that. I'm not even sure that the books still here would be of interest to anybody, but I'll start cataloging those within reach tomorrow. This has been an eight year, uphill battle, and I'm very tired. The problem is that I would prefer to keep this library, but I know that if I can't maintain them properly, these books are better off elsewhere. It's tough when they're all one has left of one's family.
We've thought about making sister sites (MovieThing or MusicThing) but we just haven't had time! People do add music and movies to their LT accounts, and we don't police it (but it's much harder to add them than books - the fields don't match right, etc.)

You might want to try listal? I know there are a bunch of programs out there, but I can't think of them off the top of my head :)

Sexy pic, lady! I had to mop my brow, for it was perspiring from your hotness. I shall be entering books soon. :)
Your site is nectar for the heart and soul. You have an engaging spirit and I wish you a journey down enlightened paths. May you tap into higher realms as you give who you are into the world.
Thanks for the Ani DiFranco cover. I never have bothered to figure out how to scan things so never added any covers of my own.
Woman, you must get your books up. I know you have thousands. :)
Welcome to the fold!
