About my libraryThis "library" is of books I've read aloud, with occasional comments. The point is that reading aloud is for adults, too.

No, not my coinage at all. I'd heard that back in the late '90's. Wikipedia shows it even earlier than that.
I've enjoyed the comments you've made to your library very much, both the positive and the negative ones. Some were quite funny! As for considering books from the point-of-view of reading them aloud, it really has given me pause for thought. Perhaps when my son is older....

Enjoy your stay in lovely Iowa, and thanks for getting back in touch with me.

Well, I checked "Bad Day", and I don't see those lyrics. So maybe I did make it up.
I would love to take credit for "Embrace the Fear", but I'm afraid it may have come from an REM song ("Bad Day" perhaps?). Still, I did toy with the idea over the summer of having some pseudo-McCain stickers printed up with that slogan, but was afraid the irony would be lost in Arizona.

Maki
