About meMost of my library has come by way of second hand shops. A recovering book addict. Once worked in a building that had a used book store in the basement that opened every day at lunch.

Later struggled to get a book of my own published, Unknown Sands. Soon after publication, the publisher seems to have fallen off the face of the earth.

About my libraryHeavy on travel, adventure (especially Central Asia), road trips America. Recently started picking up older travel guides.

I read and enjoyed your book Unkown Sands. I especially liked the way you captured the Turkmen. As part of my Air Force career, I spent two years living in Turkey. I found the Turks to be the most wonderful hosts and I continue to remain in email contact with numerous Turks. Your book reminded me of all the great personal friendships I had and why I love the Turks so very much.

Best wishes. kpg
