About meI'm an avid reader, I've been this way ever since I learned how to read! It's what I'm really into these days when I'm not at work. I'm a huge Outlander fan. While waiting for the next book to come out, I intersperse my reading with a lot of Highland, time travel and historical romances to tide me over. I also try to read some current bestsellers or classics and historical fiction and mysteries, mostly set in Great Britain.

About my libraryI have tagged the books in my library by the year I read them. I also have some other self explanatory tags, categorizing them. Many books I do not own, some I do. This is mainly for me to have a list of all the books I've read and what year. I've rated them all according to how I felt about them at the time I read them. For all I know if I read them again now, I'd feel differently about them. I read all of the Nancy Drew books back in the early 70's, but I'm not listing them here. They were probably the last mysteries I've read. I can't remember all the books I've read in my life, but it's fun trying!

I'm looking forward to our reading friendship. See you around LibraryThing
My golden retriever is going to be jealous that you named your dog after a big warrior/hero and he has to be the philosopher dog! Since he's afraid of ducks and squirrels I suspect it's just as well I didn't name him Hector. I love historical mysteries. I'm reading a mystery right now called Taint of Midas that's set in Greece although it's modern day. I'm glad I found you!
Hello ktleyed, I left a friend request. I noticed you in the historical mystery thread and then when I looked at our common books, I realized we really like the same books. I've been gobbling up C.S. Harris lately.
I love the recommendations feature on Library Thing but get better suggestions from other's libraries. Checked yours out after we shared comments on Lion's Lady. Probably finishing that one today.
Hi Julie- Thanks for the info! I did not realize there were 2 narrators, of course not counting Keith himself. It felt seamless to me. BTW- Loved the little Tom Waits piece toward the end. I had totally forgot that he had been on "Rain Dogs". that's a great album. Later!

Hi Julie- I wanted to quickly stop by and tell you I just finished the Richards memoir, which I thought was excellent. I loved your review, and like you listened to it on audio, which was terrific. Question: did your version have Depp reading is his own voice and then switching to a Keith voice and then back again? I was wondering why they did that. Just curious.
Have a great Thanksgiving and see you around LT!
