Groups1001 Books to read before you die, Feminist Theory, Graduate Students
About meI spent thirty-five years self-educating before returning to school. I'm in my second year of graduate study (MFA - Creative Non-Fiction), maintain (and preserve) with my family a large vegetable garden, watch birds with child-like wonder, meditate on the mysteries of the Universe, attempt to listen to and appreciate newer music (i.e., I have four teenagers/young adults in the house) while coveting the old (60s-70s classic rock and folk), and, now that I'm safely past 40, spend time cultivating eccentricity.
About my libraryI hounded my oldest son to create a database for our books and LibraryThing was his answer. The duplicate entries are the result of marriage and the merging of two libraries -- and the obscurity of some of the doubles has confirmed to me that this is a "meant to be" union.
Included also are books our children have long ago outgrown, though I hold out hope that one day, there will be grandchildren who will enjoy them.
As of July 10, 2009, I'd estimate a third of our books have been entered, though at the rate we acquire them, I don't imagine being "done" anytime soon.

Glad you like my books and they are useful with your group. Please do me a favour and post a review on Amazon for any of my books that you like.
Best regards
Paul Sloane
