About meMedievalist and fashion designer; interests in Scottish history, historiography and culture; post colonialism (particularly applied to the Middle Ages), Gaelic language, texts and transmission. Magnus Magnusson was to an extent, an outsider looking in. Given what you've written about yourself I think you'd really enjoy, "The Last of the Free." This is the history of the Highlands (and the gaels) written from the highland perspective (by James Hunter).
