Hi Liz,

good to hear from you! Hope you've had a great break - though not long enough, I'll bet.

Oh, & thanks for adding that book.

Would be good to have that coffee sometime soon.

Wendy
Hi Liz,

Don't feel bad about missing bookclub - just come whenever it suits you. Our next book is Brave New World. An old favourite of mine that I recently re-read and thought would be a great choice for bookclub.

We should catch up some time soon. I probably have some other childrens DVDs that may help with your research!

Letecia
Hi Liz! I'm sure if I put all my books in (one day...) we'd have a whole lot more books in common!

Sounds good, thanks! I am a very bad bookclub member--will miss this month as well. Hopeless! Perhaps we should make a time for a coffee sometime soon? (I am enjoying working through the batman DVD that David lent me. Pure research for the children's TV unit I am teaching of course!)

Liz
Hi Liz,

Sorry I'm so slack in replying!!

I really enjoyed the Daniel Donahoo book. I'll loan it to you next time we catch up.

Letecia
Hey lalydia,

Sorry for the long delay in response. Life is so busy! I haven't started reading "Odd" but I plan to soon. I have not read Wynne. I will have to look it up. Right now I'm reading "The Library at Night" By Alberto Manguel and "On a Winter's Night a Traveler" by Italo Calvino. Both about reading and libraries.
We also know someone with The Dark is Rising series, and I borrowed them and enjoyed them.
Hey lalydia, I just noticed that we are the only two people on LibraryThing to own Odd by Amy LeFeuvre! I got my copy from my husband's grandmother at Christmas. It was one of her mother's books but I haven't read it yet. I also noticed we share good taste in books, I don't know of anyone else who has read or owns The Dark is Rising series of books, I bought mine when I was in public school like 16 years ago. I love them!
