About mei read. a lot. unfortunately, my house at the moment has no comfy chairs, is abominably lit, and reaches 100 degrees in the summer - so i'm oft to be found reading at coffee shops, or on the bus on my way to a coffee shop.
my tastes are universal, tho also highly opinionated, and not in a good way.
just because i like something doesn't mean i understand it. (i'll quote "finnegans wake", not cuz i'm trying to sound pretentious, but cuz i like the sound of the words)
contrariwise, the way i *do* understand things, is oftimes not the universally-accepted-type understanding of things.
take no stock of my opinions, just smile & nod.
About my librarymy actual physical library at home contains well over a thousand volumes (i last counted when i was in my teens) - some of which i've had since before i was born (well, i inherited them from relatives anyway...)
this online library o'mine, tho, is dedicated to books i am reading now, or rather was reading now-ish when i posted them. as such, it must be considered non-representational of my whole-life book-likes.
...
okay, i admit it, i haven't been much with the updating here lately. apologies. no, it's not that i've gotten a life - rather my inherent laziness is waxing away. "waxing towards"? discuss.
