Hi larahall,
I also noticed a lot of your books matched up with my rather meager collection. I see you are an S. M. Stirling fan (we have five of his in common). He is easy to become habit forming.
I see you've got Jon Collin's "Chemistry" biography of Rush. On that vein, what did you make of Ayn Rand's books? I remember many years back having a reader of her's but I didn't get very far with it. Maybe it's time to try again.
Also, nice to see someone else who likes Eric Ambler, an under-rated gem of an author.
great minds think alike!
it's cool to see someone else list Rudnick's "Social Disease"; i don't think that got the attention it deserved.

i haven't listed too many books yet, but i'm finding that most of them fall under humor/80's/gay!

i like a lot of Tom Robbins' EARLY work, but so far i just listed 'jitterbug perfume' because it's my favorite.

I've been trying to trace a book I read many years ago. I think it may be Beyond the Sealed World by Rena (Marie) Vale, but I'm not sure because I can not find a full description of it. As you have this book listed in your library I'd like see if it matches my memory of it.

A scientist/technician who makes food flavorings is exiled from a city in a dome into the wild lands outside. One of the things I remember happening to him is that he eats 'strawberries and cream' which tastes just like one of the flavors he created in the city.

Does this ring any bells?

Thanks for any help you can give me with this.

Of the few books I've listed in my library, I'm surprised we have so much in common! Go Tom Robbins! Go progressive thinking!
Nice library.
