GroupsA Pearl of Wisdom and Enlightenment, Altered States

Favorite authorsCharles Bukowski, Joseph Conrad, Peter Matthiessen, Tom Robbins, Mark Twain (Shared favorites)

About meStrong interest in all forms of artistic expression believing that form is the envelope of pulsation. I value experimental ontology, left handed tantra, and altered states of consciousness, spontaneous and induced. "The road of excess leads to the palace of wisdom." (Wm. Blake) I am suspicious of cults, gurus, multilevel marketing, and Bigfoot sightings, even though I welcome synchronicity, dreams and visions, resonances and revelations, remembering always "The map is not the territory." Who's picture is that really? Bodhidharma or Charles Darwin?

About my libraryThe read, the unread, the usefull the beautifull, the rare, the odd, the perverse, "many a quaint and curious volume of forgotten lore" the new the used, some I've pursued, some I've lost, some I've regained.

If you're still hesitating about buying my book, perhaps the following thread, which will go on until the end of December, will influence you in my favor. You are of course welcome to visit, and to participate if you like:

I see you have Leary and Ram Dass among your memoirs and and interest in altered states, so I'll recommend my book: I Think, Therefore Who Am I? (Memoir of a Psychedelic Year). It's been reviewed three times on LT, thirteen times on amazon.
