Great! Hope you like them!
I'm curious why you would like to check out the Polish literature? ;) Now, I just have Polish versions only, but if I'll find any translated into English, I'll give you know :)
So far I love the Veganomicon. I can't wait to check out Vegan with a Vengeance.
I'm glad you think it's a good idea. I figured most people would see it as deceptive and self-indulgent!
I saw that we share an interest in wrestling. I thought you might get a kick out of my book Backyard Empire. It's unlike any wrestling book you've ever read, I can guarantee it. It's viewable at Suburban Fiction.com
Ah! I knew that wrestling fans group would snag you.
hi ryan,

i just bought jeff chang's "can't stop won't stop," a book I've been looking forward to reading for a VERY long time, and noticed your review when I added it to my library. For another fascinating read that is devoted to the early decades of hip hop, you should check out the Experience Music Project's "Yes Yes Y'all" if you haven't already. It's an oral history of the first 2 decades of hip hop (dating back to the early 70's) straight from the mouths of the folks who made it happen. It's really interesting to read different people's takes on the same events -- and there's some great reproductions of early show flyers, etc, etc. I highly recommend it!

Cheers,
Abby
Hee! I haven't finished putting in all my books yet (not by a long shot--ack!), so I'm guessing once I get to the veg books, we'll have more in common. Did you like the Pat Murphy book?
And I have yet to read those two particular books! What's wrong with me?
Hey, hot stuff!
Oh wow, I didn't know you were on GEnie too! I guess it's never come up before. My mom was a sysop on PF.RT and I remember celebrating my "double digits" birthday (10) with friends there. I was mostly active on SFRT2. We'll have to chat about it over tofu sometime - I think we're way overdue for a Sunflower date!
Yep, all those veggie cookbooks...also, you're the reason I'm here. I'd heard about LT, but your coverage got me to try it. I'm enjoying it muchly so far.
