Hee hee hee! Hello my dear - when I saw Pattern Recognition on your list (after us talking about it!) I /thought/ it might be you! ;)
Leicester was AWESOME: I've put some pics up on my blog - and talked about the Carnegie bash, too! - if you're interested, here: www.timdefenderoftheearth.com/news/
Speaking of books (as always!) one I kicked myself for not mentioning to you is Little Brother, by an American author, Cory Doctorow. It's not out in the UK until November but it's been a sensation in the States, and deservedly so: do keep an eye out for it, I reckon it just might be right up your street!
Lovely to see you on Wed, it was great fun.
Best wishes and big hug,
Sam
PS: Good news (and relief!) about Here Lies Arthur, eh? ;p
Hello! Thanks for getting in touch!
Were you, by any chance, at the Carneigie Shadowing event yesterday??? ;)
Pleased to "meet" you, anyway!
All best,
Sam
