About meI'm a librarian (of course, aren't we all?). One of my passions has been Jonathan Swift's Gulliver's Travels, resulting in a Web site on the subject: http://www.jaffebros.com/lee/gulliver/. I've also been a potter, in my spare time, and that interest has taken me to Japan three times. My most recent area of interest has been in Judaism and I'm now selecting Jewish Studies materials as part of my work: http://library.ucsc.edu/collect/jewish.h.... All of these interests are reflected in my collection.

About my libraryMy main areas of collecting have been Peter Pauper Press, Jonathan Swift/Gulliver's Travels, Japan, pottery, and Japanese pottery, and Judaica. However, my reading tastes are pretty broad, including science fiction, fantasy, mysteries, history, historical fiction (Aubrey/Maturin, etc), contemporary fiction, classics and just about anything that catches my fancy. Most of the books I've read are no longer in my collection, so I've taken this opportunity to make this a reading list as well as a library catalog.

Hello,
I have searched everywhere for a cover photo of Tomimoto Kenkichi ten, a book you and I share, but to no avail. I dont actually own the book - I'm just getting started with Librarything and making a list of favorites. Would you mind posting a photo of this cover?
Thank you,
Giorgio, aka libron on LT
We noticed that you were a Jorge Luis Borges fan, and we wanted to let you know that we’ve just published a brand new translation of his story, “Gradus Ad Parnassum,” in our anthology, ‘flatmanCROOKED – First Winter.’ “Gradus Ad Parnassum” is not currently in print in English, so we’re rather excited to publish what is to many Borges fans brand new work. The book also includes debut fiction from National Book Award winner Ha Jin, as well as stories from myriad other established and emerging authors. Check the book out at www.flatmancrooked.com/fmcmarket.html. If you get it through our website, it’s significantly cheaper than through Amazon or Barnes & Noble!
Hi Lee,

I see that we both have some of the older funkier books about Japan.I'm curious to know where you find these books. I have a real passion for the older Tuttle publications about Japan.

I would have sworn I owned the only copy of "Yankee Hobo in the Orient"! (I got mine in Kingsport, Tenn., where it was printed)
Hey, wow! so many PPP books... I only own one (Tales From Boccaccio) but have uploaded its cover if you're interested in grabbing it. ~e
