About me I love fantasy. I read a lot of children's fiction and a lot of classics. I re-read books all the time, so I enjoy having nice hardcovers of most books. However, I'll take paperback over nothing.

I work in special needs for children with severe and profound disabilities at the jr. high/high school age. My husband teaches math at the same school. I am also a seamstress on the side.

About my library I've only added books that I own to my collection here at LT. All of my books have finally made it into my catalog.

So I haven't been re-reading fast enough to post on the Deathly Hallows discussion, but I've been trying to keep up with reading the thread, and I just had to tell you I caught your Pirates "making it up as (s)he goes along" quote--I'm assuming it was intentional! ;)

I heard the poem on APM's "The Writer's Almanac" and had to share it; glad you enjoyed! :)

I've not yet read the Stroud trilogy, though it's in my short queue for "next" (the full TBR list will never be conquered. NEVER). I'm looking forward to them, and more so now with your enthusiastic thumbs up!

Thank you for reminding me lefty! I read the thread and meant to copy it but got distracted and then it got buried. But I found it and now it's safely copied and I'm going to make it when my DH comes home from a trip he's away on right now. Excellent - it sounds so delicious!! And looks great too.
