About meMy name is Leore, and I am a twenty year old from Israel. Right now I'm on vacation until October, when my first semester at the university starts, where I'll study biology.
English is not my mother tongue, though I control it rather well, I still feel a bit awkward with it at times, since I never get to practice it more then twice or thrice a year. I used to read mainly in English, but now I'm starting to include more books in Hebrew in my library, I noted all the ones which are in Hebrew.
Reading is a very important part of my life. Sometimes I can go for two months without touching a book, and then finish twenty two books in one month. I use them the most when I need escapism and treasure their memory as my best childhood friends at a time when other kids were cruel to me.
I'm trying to be realistic and not just delve into books, but I love my collection very much and keep adding to it obssessively :)
About my libraryMy library exists for the time being in my room in my parents house, which isn't a very big room, which means that there are books EVERYWHERE. I have a few boxes under the bed, two shelves full inside the wardrobe, all the regular shelves full, a little dresser under my table full of books, a shelf above the bed, the whole table and even the drawers. It's hard to keep track of which I already entered and which I haven't.
Most of the books are in English, some of them in Hebrew.
Am dreaming of the day when I have a house of my own to place my books in.

GOD scatters beauty as he scatters flowers
O'er the wide earth, and tells us all are ours.
A hundred lights in every temple burn,
And at each shrine I bend my knee in turn.

Book smuggling is great fun... except, of course, when it's raining, and you have to get the bags through the front door as fast as you can without getting spotted in the process! Nowadays, if the weather forecast says it's going to be fine, that's when I make my plans to descend upon the secondhand bookshops!
Hope you continue to have lots of fun squirrelling your books away! (And that your family continues to turn a blind eye to the growing number appearing under your bed!)
