About meArt school drop-out, used to work as a textile and embroidery designer (yes, people still do that), but have recently thrown that in to see if I can't get survive by selling my own art, in whatever shape or form it might take. Weakness for posh books I really shouldn't buy. Cat lady before my time. Chronic baker.

About my libraryThere's books in it. It's a bit all over the shop. I love a good book, but add some good pictures to it and the love edges one step closer to obsessive stalker territory. I only list books I own, and if I don't like a book it departs for more sympathetic shores. Life is too short and shelf space is at a premium (my house is very small).

Glad to hear it. I was in the hills north of Adelaide in the summer of 1985 and the conditions were similar: record high temperatures and fires all over the place, and we were also on the alert all the time, with bags packed and so on. The smoke from the fires was visible on the horizon, but luckily they never came our way.

Stay safe.
hearing terrible things about the fires there. I hope you are safe.

Lol
Thanks for your post at le salon. I sometimes wonder if we are so insular that we don't see it when we are being bad, but that was a scary spell.

Nice library, BTW.

Maybe jump in from time to time. The water really is fine and ChocolateMuse would love to have some company from "down under".
