About meThing.
About my libraryThis is a little weird, but via boingboing, we found that Art Garfunkel has been keeping a reading list for 40 years, and perusing his list of favorites it seems that his taste is eerily similar to our own. In addition to having a shared taste for 19th century and early 20th century literature, we also have in common a taste for Will Durant, Epicurean philosophy, and even Ladefoged. This is weird. It seems that Art Garfunkel has been hiding in our house, reading books from our library. We think he may be transmogrified into our cat (which would explain all the "singing"), or just hiding under our bed (which would explain our cat's habit of running under our bed and "singing"). Mr. Garfunkel, if you are reading this... well I don't know what to say. "Bridge over troubled water" turned me into a musician for a good 6 years. And then I became a linguist. Viva Ladefoged!
