About meI graduated in August, 2007 with a degree in library and information science specializing in children and young adult services in the public library. I am currently a youth services librarian at a public library in the state of Ohio.
About my libraryI started this to record what I read during 2007. I continue it into 2008 and 2009 because I enjoy "revisiting" the books I have read and enjoyed. The tags and comments are for my own purpose in order to create booktalks or specialized bibliographies for future library work. I read mostly children or young adult books with a sprinkling of adult fiction and nonfiction. I really enjoy graphic novels as well. I also try to read any interesting books I come across as I'm weeding my youth services collection or reading reviews from library journals such as School Library Journal, Booklist, etc.
