About meI'm a librarian at a community college in Oregon. I read like a fiend, and all over the map -- I've usually got at least two of the following going at once: a YA series, a nonfiction book about the history of technology, the latest McSweeney's, and something new(ish) by a favorite novelist. I recently read all of the Newbery Medal-winning children's books, in backwards chronological order. Check out my online index to the Newbery Medal winners (see homepage link below). I enjoyed this project so much that I've decided to read all (280 of) the Newbery Honor books, too.
About my libraryI've been keeping a pen & paper list of every book I've read for more than ten years now. While I have no intention of abandoning this bedside table ritual, I'm too much of a librarian to leave a list unindexed, so I've LibraryThing-ed all of these books (tagged with the month I read them, and genre, series, etc.) I also had lots of fun with the CueCat, adding all of the many many books my partner and I own -- my profile picture is a mosaic of all our book covers (make your own!)
