Oh, I almost forgot. I just finished the 2nd "43 Old Cemetery Road" book. It was great. So your mom should get to read it soon. Of course, not till next week since we will be narowly missing each other at BG until then.
I love it! Bricks in socks, virtual bookshelves and overcoming Anne Perry! I even have a name for the game, "Youthful Indiscretions"! We could get a copy for the library!
OMG! I finally finished Under the Dome! I was starting feel like I was trapped in that book. It was good, but had a weak ending. Now I just have to keep an eye out for socks and bricks, just started the newest Anne Perry Christmas book.
librarybelle, looks like you're getting ready for Halloween!
Oh, I almost forgot! The member giveaway book finally reached me yesterday... it looks like a good one! (Now I just have to read the library books that have holds on them).
Guess what... adding some more right now! I just stood in front of my bookshelf of library materials for about 5 minutes trying to decide what book to read next. I have almost decided.
I have also been busy carrying books! I'm so tired. Still, at least I don't have over 1200 books to move!!
I feel the same way! I have to have a book to escape into. If I don't have another book lined up to jump right into the moment I finish one I actually get depressed! A few years ago I learned to have a "to be read" pile. No only do I have another book ready, but I have a choice of which "friends" I want to visit with.
