About meI am a rabid book hoarder, bookmooch addict and now also a Filipiniana collector. In real-life, I do consultancy work as a writer, editor, and event/media coordinator, as needed. My greatest joy is being mom to my 19-yr old daughter, eldest daughter to my parents and big sister to my two siblings hehehe. Aside from all the book-related activities, I like to travel, visit museums, eat in new restaurants, and find bargains, whether books or clothes or household items. I am always on the look-out for books on ancient history, archaeology, books and reading, coffee, travel, fairies, and collectibles such as coffeetable and pop-up books.
About my libraryMy library is my home, or should that be, my home is my library. Books are everywhere, from the reading room/living room to the den to the stairway landing to the hallway to the guest room to the master's bedroom. I am always on the look-out for books on ancient history, archaeology, books and reading, coffee, travel, fairies, and collectibles such as coffeetable and pop-up books.

Your 'angel' mooches have arrived and I have sent you the links through the recommendation forms on BookMooch but I also wanted to drop you a personal note telling you this. :)
If you don't get the notifications please let me know, and I will repost the links here... or you can find them in my inventory also.

You left me a friend request - kevmaloneBM is just a temporary account until we get collections - my main ("real") account is kevmalone
http://www.librarything.com/profile.php?...
I am "parking" my bookmoochable books at kevmaloneBM so that LTers who see anything they would like can request and I can reserve for them on BM
- If you want to send me a friend request on BM I am kevmalone there, or you can send me a request at LT under kevmalone.
Take care.

Just wanted to let you know your angel mooch request has been accepted but it won't be posted out to me until after Xmas - which was kind of expected - yes?! At least it will happen eventually... Good though.

Just wanted to let you know this isn't the entire book I recommended (my contest entry was on the "Ultimate Hitchhiker's Guide" which is a single volume presenting the COMPLETE 5-book Hitchhiker's series).
The book you asked me to mooch is only the 1st in the series of 5, and you would still need to get the other 4 to experience the entire literary achievement I wrote about.
If you decide to find the complete series in one volume on BM you may have to wait for a while as it seems to be highly wishlisted. Here's a link to the Ultimate Guide: http://bookmooch.com/m/add_do?text=The+U...
You may also want to consider buying the Ultimate Guide, which is what I did since I knew I'd want to keep it forever, and it is a heavy hard-cover book that will be expensive to mail via BM.
So let me know if you still want me to mooch 1st book for you...

I would like to donate 10 points to the "Prison Dharma Network."
Oh goody, I was really running low on points :)
Thanks so much for this opportunity, and for posting such an inventive contest!

Thanks for the link to your blog; it looks interesting, and I have bookmarked it for future reading.
Are you familiar with Carol Barton's site Popular Kinetics? (http://www.popularkinetics.com/sales_pag... in case the link doesn't work!) I think you'd enjoy it.

Of course I'll help, but which owner do you want to mooch from? (there are 9 available)
Whenever you leave me a comment on LT it goes directly to my cell.
So when you reply to this mesaage, it will go to my phone.
Let me know and I'll mooch it immediately.

I noticed that you mentioned someone responded about being your Angel? Let me know who they are so I can post and reserve the book for them. :)

It is perfectly fine. Should I post the book and reserve it in some way (I am not sure how to reserve books, though) or should I not post it until you find an angel?
Let me know what you think.

when you say "stranded on an island," do you mean a deserted island that you might be on forever (shipwreck scenario), or lying out on the beach during a vacation with only one book?
I think the different scenarios would call for different books.... and by the way, are we allowed more than one submission per person?
Hope you can share some of the book suggestions you get in replies :)

Your book is packaged up and ready to go. I'll move it into my car tomorrow morning so that I can mail it as soon as I'm near the post office.
