About meI do a variety of things.

Most often these days my idea of "fun" is playing in the SCA (Society for Creative Anachronism), although i also hang out in some other sub-cultures. In the SCA i am known as Urtatim, formerly Anahita. I concentrate on cooking, costuming, and learning textile skills.

And i'm playing gamelan - Javanese & Balinese - again

About my libraryBooks are my love. I don't really need much furniture, but i couldn't live without books.

My library is in 4 out of 5 rooms in my apartment (not in the bathroom - too damp). The library is organized by subject, with particular subjects in particular rooms. There aren't enough walls for all the shelves i'd need in this earthquake zone. So there are also stacks of books in front of some of the book shelves.

Although i read some genre fiction - science fiction, fantasy, vampire novels, crime fiction, spy novels - I've pretty much stopped buying them because i read them too fast. Paperbacks are so expensive now, and i'd rather save my money for non-fiction/reference works.

saw that you just added the hermetica...multiple volumes...wonderful series isnt it??? You might be interested in the History of Magic and Science later on, if you can find the entire set, and an unabridged multiple volume of the golden bough is a very interesting source to use....

love your library!!
Ok, so only 3 people on librarything have kol haneshemah listed -- and apparently we share other taste in books too. I live in Philly, in a big old house with books everywhere, and am hoping getting them all listed here will help me find some that have gone missing. I've only scratched the surface of entering, though. Would rather read than scan. And although you can't tell it from the books I entered, I used to do SCA.

I knew that eventually I would find someone who shared books with me in all my main book categories. (Textile, Cooking, Theology). I only have a handful of fiction in so far, and even one of those matches. Also obviously both share an interest in Languages. (I'm trying to learn Hebrew and NT Greek at the moment.) Our tastes are actually quite different, but I suspect we would enjoy each other.
Hello, long time no write! I've got no time to add many books at the moment, since I'm finishing up an MSc in Human Computer Interaction and I'm finishing up my project/thesis, but I will eventually add stuff to here.
Damn, it's you!

Good to see you're around!
