About meReading plays a MAMMOTH role in my everyday life. I've been a self-proclaimed book addict since age two, when my beyond amazing mother, to whom I owe so much, taught me how to read. When I'm not sticking my nose in a great book, I'm playing clarinet and handling my massive homework load! In addition to being a bookworm, I'm also a history buff. I'm especially fascinated by the French Revolution, the Victorian era, the Tudor era, and the American Revolution. It's great to be a part of the LibraryThing community, which is full of book lovers...just like me!!
About my libraryI consider my library to be pretty eclectic, but I'll try my best to narrow it down a bit. I love, love, love classic lit, especially Charles Dickens and Louisa May Alcott. Being a young adult, however, I do enjoy books such as the Harry Potter series. I do not, however, enjoy chick lit such as the Twilight saga. My favorite genres are historical fiction, fantasy, and dystopia. Series I'm addicted to include the Gemma Doyle trilogy by Libba Bray (my favorite by far), the Harry Potter series by JK Rowling, and the Lunar Chronicles series by Marissa Meyer.
