About my libraryThis is as much a reading log as a library catalogue; I certainly don't own all of these books, but I also refrain from entering library copies or borrowed books until I've read them.

Really never read it before a few days ago. I know that's probably a capital crime in the circles I keep, but owning up to it is a risk I'm willing to take. It felt a bit like being dragged to a midnight screening of Rocky Horror before you've actually seen the film in a quiet, neutral setting -- like everyone was in on the joke but me.

As for that word, it was coined (as far as I know) somewhere in the coaster enthusiast community, to describe a ride that was highly anticipated but not overly impressive upon delivery. (See Top Thrill Dragster.) It's a great, and very versatile, term!
Someone else I know has Bringhurst's typography book?! I should have known that.
There you are! I should have known this would be your handle but for whatever reason I never sought this out.
