Understood!
I love your "Books & cleverness" tag. It has kept drifting into my mind all day.
I've not read any of Bart D. Ehrman's books. What are your thoughts on his work?

I've been looking at the online Oxford English Dictionary during the free periods (which they're doing to tie in with the BBC's etymology programme), and I found out that 'elsewhen' actually dates back to 1418. Other variants are 'elsewho,' 'elsehow,' 'elsewards', 'elsewhat' etc.
PS: I love the word 'elsewhen'! Mind if I borrow it?
Sadly, I don't think the punctuation errors in The Life of Mammals can be blamed on a ghostwriter -- I've been seeing such mistakes more and more frequently, even in allegedly scholarly books. My guess is that some publishers needed to save money and started with the proofreaders!
