About meSome basic details: I just started the Masters of Library and Information Science program and the University of Illinois, so I am now formerly an attorney (a recovering attorney?). I dream of some day moving to Canada, because apparently I've decided Chicago in winter isn't cold enough.

Things I also love that interfere with my reading: tv, video games (I loooove my Wii and Xbox360), surfing the internet, and snuggling with my dog Cali, aka The Spud, who doesn't consider it acceptable for me to pet her with less than both hands.

Etc: Because of school AND my job I have increasingly little time to read for pleasure, but that doesn't stop me from hoarding books like they're going extinct. Probably more because I am afraid I'll forget I wanted to read them than anything else. However, this often leads to me standing in front of my bookshelves overwhelmed by all my choices and unable to decide what I want to read next.

About my libraryI have no favorite genre, but I do find myself going through phases where I read a lot of books in the same genre.
