About meI've been a voracious and obsessive reader as long as I can remember. I'm the Systems/Metadata Librarian at Whitman College. I read everything, and when I'm not reading I'm usually cooking, drinking beer, playing around with the internets, learning about things, writing, knitting, or watching movies. Often I am reading while I'm doing those other things.

About my libraryI will read anything you put in front of me. Most often read in non-fiction: politics, women's studies, cultural studies, lay-person science. Most often read in fiction: Nineteenth- and early-twentieth-century British, contemporary literary fiction, Harry Potter. I have too many books for a person who moves a lot.
