About me I'm a book-loving (rather obvious, I guess), mostly gay autodidact and soon-to-be full time student (starting this fall) who works at two clothing stores and aspires to one day teach biology and live on Vancouver Island, British Columbia. I love music, dogs, certain sports, and political discussions held at high volumes. My politics are liberal, my righteous indignation excessive, and my mind open (most of the time)

About my library I only catalog books I currently own, which also means only books that I've read, as I never buy a book I haven't read at least once already (except in very rare circumstances) and I always read a book I've been given before deciding whether to keep it. My library right now consists largely of books that belonged to me as a child, which resided in boxes in my father's attic until recently, when he gave them to me. Having to put myself through school (as well as eat and live somewhere) I'm not financially capable of buying books either in large amounts or frequently, but I try to pick some up whenever I can afford it.
