About me![]()
I've been an avid reader ever since I can remember. I grew up a "Navy Brat" and we relocated often. I was an introverted kid and found it difficult to make friends so books became my friends. To this day I tend to be a loner and sometimes prefer the company of books over the company of people.
Some of my other interests throughout my life, besides reading, have been crochet, embroidery, needlepoint, cross stitch, geneology, and porcelain doll making. I've also enjoyed skiing, camping, movies, and shopping. My current shopping passion is for designer handbags! I also enjoy spending time with my grown daughter (who is also my best friend) and my grandchildren. I'm an animal lover and have a Yorkshire Terrier named Bailey, two love birds and a canary.
About my library![]()
My library consists of books that I currently own except for those on the Wishlist. It does not include all the books that I've ever read. It's a pretty eclectic collection that reflects passing interests through the years.![]()
MY RATINGS:
NOT SO GOOD
OK, BUT PROBABLY WON'T READ AGAIN

GOOD, WORTH READING, RECOMMENDED

VERY GOOD, HIGHLY RECOMMENDED

EXCELLENT, A MUST READ
Very few of my books have less than 3 stars because I'm pretty easy to please and can usually find something good in most of the books I read. If they are really bad I usually trade them because I need the shelf space for the books I treasure. Many books remain unrated because it's been so long since I've read them that I don't remember them well enough to rate them, although I know I liked them at the time. Someday I'll probably reread them. So many books, so little time.![]()
