About meI'm a former book seller/book buyer. Although my books are outgrowing my shelves - I removed furniture that's taking up potential shelf space but haven't yet put the shelves up in my book room I primarily use my e-reader for library books that I won't keep. I love the way books smell.

If forced to choose between a good book and a fun one, I'll pick fun every time. For me that means a good story well told.

I love librarything.com because I've reached the age where I'll get an older book in a swap and realize I read it and disliked it when it came out.

About my libraryI've neglected to catalog most of my nonfiction. Currently homeless books are toppling off dressers and and perilously stacked in places where I'm sure to trip over them until I get those new bookshelves. I'm trying to swap out books that were either given to me or that I've read enough times for something else I'll read over and over. A few books will always be with me because I'm sentimental about them. Some belonged to late family members long before I was born and although I won't read them, I can't seem to try to find new homes for them.

One star indicates I didn't complete a book; two that I finished it and disliked it; three that it was it was okay, and anything four stars and up are books I own or want to. Sometimes excellent books have 3.5 stars simply because I know I won't reread them, although I'm not positive I've done that at this site.
