About my library"There are such wonderful books in it that I expect people to tremble with excitement, as I would, on entering it for the first time, but few of them do so ..." Frederick Buechner
While some were necessary for classes or were the result of willfully pursuing a particular text, the majority of these books were collected with that certain careless joy (or is it nervous anxiety?) in discovery at various used bookstores and sales. Some have been with me for a long time, others are parts of more recent efforts at self-construction. Just found that right copy of E. P. Thompson on the English working class. Happy hunting and peaceful reading to you all.
Debating whether to add all the kid's books to this site to create a complete family collection. Part of the goal of this cataloging is to move towards purgation - in both the mystical and material sense.
