About meMy mother taught English, my father taught Social Studies. I grew up in a house full of books. I work in a historic house with a library I'd love to get my hands on.

About my libraryThese are the books I have in DC. I have more at my parents' house in upstate NY, waiting for me to live someplace big enough to store them. And of course, my parents have a gazillion books of their own.
The tag "trash" is for those books that I bought with the expectation that they would not possess much, if any, literary merit. That doesn't mean that they're not well-written for what they are, but they're intended to be read on airplanes or in the bathtub and be full of ripping bodices and ludicrous positions, and occasionally happy endings. I don't have very many mysteries/thrillers, though I think they might also occasionally fall into this category. The tag "mooch" means you can snag it from me on BookMooch.
All other tags should be fairly self-explanatory.
