In the effort to make myself "marketable," I have found myself engrossed in multiple fields of Literature and theory, and enjoy teaching and talking about every letter! My primary scholarship is in Early Modern English Drama (primarily Shakespeare and Middleton), history of the same period, adaptations, film, new historicism, race, and feminist theories. Sub focii include horror, gothic, comics, media as text, and the use of source material for the Early modern stage. About my libraryFrom the time I first stepped into a library, I decided that I would collect enough books to have my own. It was, and continues to be, my favorite place to spend time reading, browsing, writing, thinking, and just experiencing good quality private think time. When I moved back to Pittsburgh, Pa from Tuscaloosa, Alabama after finishing graduate school, I had more boxes of books than anything else--including clothes or furniture! I even had to sell some books because I had no way of safely transporting them (plus, ~MY~ library just wasn't going to include ~those~ books! *chuckles*).
