About mePLEASE NOTE RECENT USERNAME CHANGE

I am a geek, a nerd, and a child at heart who still loves all the things loved in childhood. I like sci-fi/fantasy TV, cartoons, and games of all types, including board games, video games, card games, and role-playing games, but excluding mind games because they give me a headache. I collect My Little Ponies, obscure stuffed animals, and moose-related furnishings. I am a pack-rat: I just like STUFF and I like having lots of it.

About my libraryI am slowly adding my collection as I retrieve them out of storage and put them on my new bookshelves one shelf at a time. My educational reading is mostly hard science, with a little linguistics & mythology thrown in. For recreational reading I tend toward fantasy, shoujo manga, and young adult novels usually due to their particular flavors of romantic subplots. I read the occasional comic book from my boyfriend's vast collection which is (mostly) not archived here (yet) Non-book stuff is archived elsewhere (take11, listal, boardgamegeek, ponydex, etc.)

I have an affinity for amusing adjectives and I adore alliteration.

Hi there :]

The Clover omnibus was released by Dark Horse (originally released by TokyoPop) and is an English edition. I haven't had a chance to compare it to my old TokyoPop editions to see if there are any noticable changes in the text.

As far as manga goes, I'm afraid I've been out of the loop myself. Sorry I couldn't be much help!

Have a great day :]

Thanks for the interesting libraries add! I'm looking through your books and they're giving me ideas for what to read next (not that my to-read pile isn't already way too large!)

Hi!
Many thanks for the angel mooch. I'm also elwen on BM and if you ever need an Angel for Spain...
Enjoy,
Angela
For an Angel "system", I recommend adding the person's userid in the mooch comments. If I forget to, I just create a draft when the mooch email arrives and add the name there.
Please let me know how "Writing E-mails in Japanese 日本語Eメールの書き方" is. I will definitely buy a copy if you find it useful (although I probably don't need it).
