0.5-1 No redeeming qualities; probably did not finish.

2-2.5 Decently written but uncompelling, or poorly written but with moments of prurient interest. Possibly a guilty pleasure, but not one I'm likely to re-read. More bad than good.

3-3.5 Flawed, but enjoyable, or a guilty pleasure which I will re-read. More good than bad, but I probably wouldn't recommend it if you aren't a fan of the genre.

4-5 ZOMGBBQ!!one! These are my best friends; I probably re-read them every year. Dis them, and I'll cry.
