I notice that you have several Joseph Cornell books in your library. I want to buy a book about his assemblage art but would like to see the books before I buy or at least have some recommendations from someone who has several of his (i.e rather than buying unseen and uninformed online.)I live in Australia so foreign art books are really expensive by the time they come from overseas - for instance, Shadowplay Eterniday is Aust$120! I buy most of mine now through Amazon.com as I find it's much cheaper than buying them here, even with freight added. I can only find Shadowplay and Master of Dreams in our local art gallery bookshops. Which of the Joseph Cornell books that you have, or know about, do you recommend as having the most colour images and the best information? Thanks.
I notice you also have heaps of collage books (lucky you!), some of which I share. Jo
