About meI live in the Boston area, have two kids, and am a devoted fan of science fiction.

About my libraryI have almost finished entering my own books, and will be starting on entering my kids' books as well. I continue to acquire books at a fairly high rate of speed, especially since I recently got a new job with a higher salary.

I'm using the tag "bookmooched" for books that I used to own but have swapped on BookMooch. I'm also using "not owned" for bookmooched books as well as books I've borrowed from others. The primary purpose of this is to enable the use of my "read in [year]" list. I don't generally want to keep a list of all books I don't own, so I'm just doing this for a small subset (for now).

My library consists primarily of science fiction and some fantasy, as well as some mysteries and other assorted randomosity. Of late, more nonfic seems to be creeping in as well. I'm interested in a wide variety of topics, so it's hard to find a theme. For now I just shelve all the nonfic together in a clump....

Hi Mamajoan, I'm in luck. They have the Somnambalist at my local library and I'm going to stop in and put a hold on it. Thanks a mill for the offer to have it shipped. Carrie
Why are you posting links to viruses and bad webpages?
Hi, Mamajoan - I don't know if you kept up with the made up words thread but I noted that I was just teasing when asking if you took your username too seriously. I truly hope I did not offend you, and if I did, I apologize. I have not seen any recent posts from you so I thought I'd just check and make sure all is good.
