About me I teach creative writing and first-year writing at the University of Minnesota, Morris, a small, public liberal arts college on the prairie, where I also coordinate the service-learning program. I am in the process of adopting a 14-year-old girl. Besides reading and writing, and I love Greek dancing, long walks, gardening, swimming, long conversations w/ good friends, traveling, cooking and eating good food, hanging with kids and elders, anything that supports the arts, community-building and social justice.
About my library I love poetry, good literary memoirs, and good literary fiction. I'm also interested in explorations of spirituality, GLBT identity, social justice, and adoption.
