I happened upon your review of Flatland. Thanks for the laughs! I too struggled - not as hard as you though - to read it before giving it up as a bad job, quite quickly as I recall.
I would be honored if you read my book(s). If you do, please let me know your thoughts on it. I love discussing my books with readers.

How many books do you plan on reading this year? Sounds like a fun quest! Good luck with it.

No problem on the interesting libraries thing (and thanks for reciprocating). Millar is a relatively new author for me; but after seeing that Neil Gaiman thought so highly of him (he wrote the introduction for "The Good Fairies of New York") I decided to take a chance. I would suggest starting with either "Suzy, Led Zeppelin and Me" or the aforementioned "Good Fairies". "Lonely Werewolf Girl" is also good, but a little long and convoluted for a new author read.
My pleasure. I love VA, I grew up on the Delmarva Peninsula! Have a Delmarvelous day :)
Hi, I'm glad to send you On Becoming an Alchemist, All I need is an address :)
I'm sorry about that - I checked with the publisher to make sure it left them, and it did, so I think we have to chalk it up to lost in the mail. Not reviewing it *won't* in any way affect your future chances of being chosen.
