Hello! I see that you are the only other person on LT who has listed The Liar. Since you're in Virginia, I'm guessing that you saw it at The Shakespeare Theatre. I just got back from a performance with my copy in hand. Wasn't it wonderful? I love that Ives kept it in rhymed iambic pentameter couplets, and some of the rhymes were absolutely outrageous! Not to mention the contemporary references, intentional anachronisms, and misplaced lines from Shakespeare. What fun! I'm anxious to read the play because I have a feeling that I may have missed a few things.
