Hello Mark,
How was your weekend? Mine was alright. On sunday, we didn't have a normal service - after prayers, and praise 'n' worship, we went out for evangelism. The whole church, as well as first timers! This is the second or third time we're doing this. It was alright. We were out for about an hour, and i somehow talked to 2 muslims.
Mark,
I have read both those books, as well as "Under the Banner of Heaven." Krakauer is an interesting writer.
My church is traditionally an evangelical church. I belong to one of our very few (about 5) youth branches. Just us young 'uns and a couple of elders to maintain order. However, we tend to be more of a 'let your light so shine' sort of church...
Soul winning? In theory, i know how it's supposed to work. In real life, how are you guys doing?

That was a wonderful post (#39) about abortion over on the pit bull thread (of all things!). I haven't been following the threads, so I missed my chance to jump in, but wanted to let you know that I appreciate the time, concentration, and emotional outlay that post must have cost.

You also pretty much summed up my own feelings on the subject. I am going to save that post so I can refer to it when I need a good summary of the issue.

Thanks!
Really interesting! What's your church like? I'm guessing pentecostal. We (Nigerians) tend to gravitate towards those. Except they're my parents, and then they would be catholic.
interesting library. why did you get those particular books?
