About meI am the author of "The Filly" and I thought LibraryThing would be a cool place to share my reading interests.
About my libraryLordy, I have a ton of books. I've pretty much kept every book I've ever purchased all the way back to grade school when I used to order those thin books from Scholastic that had pages made from newsprint! I'm not going to catalog my whole Library (much too embarassing), but rather the titles I think are significant.

Actually, I prefer historical fiction to fantasy myself. I don't read much fantasy any more. I did pick up the three Nightrunner books and the first Last Herald Mage book, figuring the M/M scenario would make things more interesting. But I haven't read any of the Nightrunners yet and really couldn't get into 'Magic's Pawn'. ne of the few books I quit in the middle.
By the way, I LOVED 'Lonesome Dove'. I've picked up more Larry McMurtry and also enjoyed his novel 'The Last Picture Show'.
I looked into your novel 'The Filly'. It sounded pretty interesting. I may have to pick up a copy.

Thanks for your message and your observations. I don't need too many attempts to guess to which five book western series you refer! I think as I say in one of those reviews – there are not great literature; but I fell in love with one of the heroes, so perhaps my judgement was a little clouded.
I will certainly dig out the Iversen series. I am in the process of a drastic thinning out my library – I got so far ahead of myself, now having so many books (approaching 400) waiting to be read that they are becoming a burden. But I will rescue the Iversen from the “to be disposed of” shelves.
I looked up your book on Amazon – I like the sound of it – I have added it to my wish list – but will have to wait ’til I’ve cleared out some more books before acquiring it.
