About meI have now been retired from work due to ill health (had and accident at work and can no longer do my job due to this) and my hobbies are reading (of course!), cooking, travelling.
I collect cookbooks and recipes, bookmarks, ghost books and anything on the paranormal.
I used to do paranormal investigations which I did for about 10 years but due to the accident I have had I can no longer do these (makes me spit!). I have investigated some really interesting places in the time I did this.
I have 3 children and 6 grandchildren. One daughter lives here in Essex, England. My son lives in Vancouver, Canada and my eldest daughter lives in Ontario, Canada where 4 of my grandchildren also live.

About my libraryI love reading and have done so from a very early age. I read nearly all genres except sci-fi and fantasy. I am very anal about books and have to read an author in order of date of books written and always read a series in order. Bookshops are my falldown - I can never pass one by and always, always make a beeline for boot fairs and charity shops.

Hi Barbra
I've dropped by to tell you that your comment about throwing Wally Lamb's 'She's Come Undone' to the wall made me laugh out loud. My sentiments almost exactly, although I struggled through it to the end. I gave it 3 stars because it was well written, even if the content was sickening, offensive and depressing.
I don't read other people's reviews before I write mine, because I like to put down what I think before my opinion is coloured by other peoples' impressions. However, having written my review, I enjoyed reading the reviews of people who hated the book, like me, and in doing so felt bolstered in my opinion!
Hope to hear from you some time.
